This course will walk you through starting your business with topics like industry opportunities, filing and registration, business planning, marketing techniques, industry best practices, and financing, banking, accounting and taxes.

MODULE 1 WILL DISCUSS THE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE CANNABIS INDUSTRY. OUR GOAL IS TO EXPOSE YOU TO THE DIFFERENT LEVELS OF LICENSES AND VARIOUS TYPES OF ANCILLARY BUSINESSES.

Uplift Maryland is the trusted source of information for navigating all aspects of the medical cannabis industry in Maryland. In 2018, we were awarded one of five grants by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) to develop and implement an education and business development training program designed for small, minority, and woman business owners and entrepreneurs interested in becoming licensed in the medical cannabis industry. Uplift Maryland was also just awarded a contract to develop curriculum for the MMCC’s Dispensary Agent Training Program.
